Marigold is a Jinn (one of the plant like people of Moonhaven) that hopes to be like the queen when she grows up and one of the youngest characters in the 2013 film Epic.
Physical Appearance[]
Like most of the Jinn Marigold has the form of a Red-orange-yellow marigold flower (even when her mother's flower hair is a Daisy), with the same shade of petals on her skirt, green skin and root hairs in her legs. She even as some green "bod petal" like-hair under her marigold hair, making it look like a hat with some "hair" sticking out under it.
When Marigold became the new Queen of the forest, her hair and skirt (which gets longer) petals turn white when she became Tara's successor. While the bod petal like-hair was placed behind and styled like hair being tied back.
Personality[]
Like any child she gets excited when she sees the Leafmen and after seeing Tara control the forest with only her mind while making her way to the Pods Patch the queen became her hero and hopes to someday be like her and to control the forest with her own mind.
She's hardly away from her mother's side, but when the Boggans attacked she ran off to help her hero get away from them; which showed a side of bravery. After she became the new Queen, she was amazed and filled with joy as she finally able to do "magic" with her mind, when she used her new powers to send Mary Katherine back home and to the true size.
Powers and Abilities[]
Marigold gained Tara's physical personification of life and growth in the forest when her pod made the young Jinn the new Queen of the Forest.
Role in the Crossover[]
Because of Tara's chose to make her the new Queen of Moonhaven, fans have made her Tara or Emily Jane Pitchiner, AKA Mother Natures' daughter or niece, or as a student/apprentice that they have grown close to.
Even when her real name is unknown and is simply known as "Marigold Child"; fans prefer to take word "Child" out of her title so they can call her "Marigold".
